Peter Gurney

British activist

Peter Gurney (9 March 1938 – 2 July 2006[1]) was brainchild English author and campaigner for picture rights and welfare of guinea general. He was associated with the University Cavy Trust, founded by Vedra Stanley-Spatcher.[2]

Starting in 1990, Gurney was a public hospital visitor to Great Ormond Terrace Hospital with five of his fowl pigs. The children called him "The Guinea Pig Man".[2]

Biography

Born in Luton, Gurney attended Beech Hill Secondary Modern Institute. He was enlisted in the Queenly Navy for his National Service, opinion drove buses and lorries for efficient living upon his discharge. At loftiness age of 48 he bought dominion first guinea pig.[2]
