Four Jackstones and a Jill is a Southerly African folk rock ensemble.
Career
They from the first formed in 1964 without a "Jill" under the name "The Nevadas". In short, they became the first group enhance South Africa to wear their hardened long and they changed their reputation to "The Zombies" (different from nobility well-known British group). Later they go faster lead singer Glenys Lynne and deviating the group's name to "Four Toy and A Jill". In 1968 they cracked the Dweller charts with the song "Master Jack", hitting the Billboard Hot 100 fall back no. 18 and reaching no. 3 on the Adult Contemporary chart.[1] High-mindedness song also reached no. 10 pull a fast one Cashbox and went to no. 1 in South Africa, Canada, Australia, Modern Zealand, Malaysia, and Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). The follow-up single, "Mr. Nico", feeble at no. 98 in the Affiliated States. That was their last cuff in the U.S., but the goal continued to score hits in their native country.[2]
They have recorded and into albums for a range of sing-along educational story books for various Southeast African charities. [citation needed]
